Dear Parents, Students, Friends and Family,
Among my blessings as the executive director are the many talented, dedicated and loyal people that have or are a part of The Dance Refinery history. Most of my lifelong friends come from within The Dance Refinery walls. I’m proud to say that many of them are former students and/or staff who have helped make TDR what it is today, one of the top dance studios in the country!
The most important ingredient of The Dance Refinery is our students. Our lives are entwined with theirs as we grow and learn together. As they have progressed and their needs have changed, so have ours. In the course of thirty-five years, The Dance Refinery has gone through all kinds of transitions – location, logo, performing groups, competitive gymnastics, all star cheer, etc. (the list goes on, as does the beat).
One thing above all remains constant – all of us strive to provide our students with a quality education in whatever discipline they wish to pursue and aim to instill within them a love and appreciation for that art form. This is what makes us so proud of how far we have come together. The training that students receive at TDR is the perfect academic supplement as it promotes physical activity and provides students with valuable life lessons in teamwork, discipline, dedication and time management, ultimately helping to shape them into confident and successful young adults.
There have been some amazing memories for me, as well as for the staff and students involved. The Dance Refinery has grown because of all of our students, family and friends past and present. Thank you for believing in the dreams of your children and trusting us to refine your most precious jewel! We look forward to thirty more years and what they may bring with all of you.
